Scent Guide

EVERY SCENT TELLS A STORY. EVERY FLAME HOLDS MEANING.

Every candle tells a layered story, unfolding moment by moment as it burns. To describe that journey, we use three types of fragrance notes: top, heart, and base.

Top Notes

The first impression.

These are the lightest scents you’ll notice right after lighting your candle. Often citrusy, herbal, or airy, top notes are what draw you in.

Heart (Middle) Notes

The soul of the scent.

As the top fades, the heart notes bloom. These are often floral, spice, or green elements that define the candle’s character.

Base Notes

The grounding foundation.

Rich, warm, or earthy, base notes linger longest, leaving a lasting impression even after the flame goes out.

Fresh

BREATH. CLARITY. RENEWAL.

Fresh scents awaken the sense. Crisp, clean, and full of light, these fragrances embody the spirit of renewal, just as a deep breath resets the body and mind.

With notes that echo open air and new beginnings, our fresh collection is your reminder to slow down, clear space, and breathe in what matters.

Floral

BEAUTY. JOY. SOUL.

Throughout history, floral aromas have symbolized beauty in bloom. At Aluma, our floral fragrances evoke the spirit of joy, elegance, and sacred connection.

From soft and airy to lush and expressive, each floral blend is an invitation to pause and feel the wonder of the present moment, like a bouquet for the soul.

Woody

STILLNESS. STRENGTH. GROUNDING.

Woody scents are rooted: calming, earthy, and enduring. They reflect a return to self, a connection to nature, and the quiet resilience that lives in all of us.

At Aluma, our woody fragrances anchor your space with warmth and wisdom, echoing Hebrew words that speak to stillness, truth, and soul.
